To allocate the government funding to universities, the Ministry uses an allocation model. The amount of funding is set on a yearly basis. By allocating the available funds in this way, adopting the financial incentives from the ministerial model, the UG expects that it can guarantee sufficient stability in terms of faculty funding as well as high-quality teaching and research, also in the longer term.
